About Aqua Bella Artwork
BIO:
Jennifer is a native San Diegan who loves to travel, hike, and scuba dive. Her desire to interpret these beautiful surroundings, cultures, and settings through art started at a very young age. She received her BA in Art/Graphic Design at Point Loma Nazarene University. She also received her CLAD teaching credential to teach art to high school students and enjoyed her time teaching cartooning at Gateways Summer School and B&W Photography at Gladstone High School. She has had several of her photos published in books.
In 2017 she discovered fluid painting and how Rayleigh-Taylor & Kelvin-Helmhottz instabilities are at play based on various paint densities. This method of painting is highly experimental and rewarding at the same time. Mexican artist, David Alfaro Siqueiros, described it as “accidental painting” and loved the marriage between physics and art. Jennifer is constantly learning new mediums and techniques and supports other artists.
